Interopa Is Founded
Interopa is established as a Destination Management Company with a clear purpose: to create memorable travel experiences for visitors to Britain. Built on personal relationships, service and trust, the foundations of the company are set.

1980 Era
Travel in the pre-internet world was personal. Plans were made across desks, not screens and every itinerary was shaped through real dialogue. We learned that memorable journeys start with understanding people, a value that continues to guide us today. At Interopa, these relationships became our foundation and these friendships are still valued today.

British-Owned and Operated Since 1974
In the late 1990s, we continued to build our legacy as travel opened up to a wider audience with the rise of new airlines such as easyJet and Ryanair. Interopa adapted quickly, strengthening partnerships and welcoming new markets into Britain. It was also a defining era for UK pop culture, with the first Harry Potter book published in 1997 and Notting Hill released in 1999.
1999
By 1999, Interopa Sport had become an essential part of INTEROPA’s craft of tailored personal service. Since then, the goal has been clear: to provide reliable, personal support to professional teams visiting the United Kingdom. With a hands-on working style and a deep understanding of what athletes and staff require, we ensured each stay was smooth, organised and of the highest quality. These early successes shaped the expertise we are known for today.
