London, England
Born to be a communication center by the Romans shortly after they invaded Britain in 43 AD. Londinium, was a little village on the Thames, on the route to the provincial capital in eastern England. Nowadays, London could be considered as a noisy, vibrant and truly multicultural city, ideas and frenetic energy. Capital and largest city of both England and of the United Kingdom, it is also the largest city in the European Union with a strong international character. It has an official population of a little over 8 million characterized by a diverse range of peoples and cultures, and more than 300 languages are spoken within Greater London. For that reasons, it has became one of the world's leading global city. London swank strength in the arts, commerce, education, entertainment, fashion as well as tourism and transport; all contributing to its prominence. The city always keeps up with innovations and doesn’t stop to grow and develop to what we see today, always combining the past with the present. In fact, that's what I think of when I think of London: a perfect binding of the past and the present.
